Woven in rich Autumn shades of Forest Green, Olive Green, Antique Gold, Spice Brown, Terracotta, Gray, Black, and Beige, the field of this lovely full size shawl is creatively detailed with Kashmiri Blossoms and stately, swirling Paisley motfs. The end borders are embellished with palace windows, petite paisleys, and floral bouquets. Inspired by the treasured antique handwoven Kani weave Jamawar Shawls from Kashmir that required many years to complete, this graceful wrap iss fashioned with softly twisted fine yarns and an insulating weave particularly suitable for wear in cool temperatures, yet floats with a gentle weight across the shoulders.
Produced with soft Lambswool Pashm from England, spun and loomed in northern India, this delightful warmer mid-weight wool shawl is both beautiful and practical.
