This striking reversible full size shawl has been elegantly fashioned in a rich blend of lively colours, and is a wonderfully versatile choice for any shawl lover's collection. Featuring coiled Paisley motifs unfurling across the field in decorative arcs amidst a garden of delicate Himalayan flower motifs in shades of Red Violet, Fuschia, Lilac, Robins Egg Blue, Soft Pink, and Beige, this lovely wool shawl echoes the free flow of intense creativity that flourished in Kashmir during the early to mid 1800’s under the Sikh and Dogra maharajas.

The original spins, twirls, and twists of nature’s own design elements used by the weavers and embroiderers during the 19th century were subsequently adopted by artisans of various mediums in Europe, where the style became popularly know as art nouveau.

Woven of quality, supple Lambswool Pashm which drapes with exquisite sophistication and style.
