Tranquil Himachal style series wool Meditation Shawl in quiet Soft Brown, adorned with deeply embellished borders woven with traditional motifs from the high Himalayas of Northern India. The serene Soft Brown field is full adorned on all four borders in shades of Chocolate, Beige, Spice Brown, Dark Aubergine, Golden Almond, Rust, Maroon, and Taupe, with slender stripes, petite flying diamonds, and a variety of time-honored woven geometrics styled after the original hand made shawls of the Himachal Pradesh region. This classically patterned Shawl is quite characteristic of the mountain villages and many cultures located along the approach to the high altitude Himalayan range.

Fashioned for contemporary tastes and woven in Northern India, our Master of Shawl has selected a quality, lighter weight woolen than normally used for shawls from the Himalayan weavers. It is very soft and supple, making this a wonderful wrap ideal as a Meditation Shawl for a variety of traditions, or as an all occasion daily wear wool shawl.

As well, it is perfectly suitable as either a Gents shawl or Ladies shawl, and has been chosen for our collection especially for spiritual practioners who live in warmer climates but want a quality meditation shawl. For reference, these shawls are in high demand in New Delhi for wear over sweaters and folded into scarves during Autumn and the milder periods of Winter.
