This particular geometric most likely has its origins in the stylized paintings from the ancient Himalayan kingdoms of Kangra and Brampura-Chamba. Woven in rich shades of Antique Gold, Desert Sand, Walnut Brown, Warm Beige, and Black in contrast to the lighter field, this beautiful and classically embellished Shawl is very characteristic of the mountain cultures of Himachal Pradesh as well as generations of nomadic traders who flow through the high passes during favorable weather.
